I mean it could have been but that was a vicious hit and his leg looked like a twig. and the biggest thing was he showed no improvement when he came back week by week. looked the same each week hobbled. CRedskinsRule 01-08-2013, 11:56 PM and the biggest thing was he showed no improvement when he came back week by week. looked the same each week hobbled. I didn't see it that way. in the philly game he ran 2 times for four yards, and it was excruciating to see his reach the sideline. in Dalllas he ran for 60 yards and while he didn't have his burst there was a better fluid motion in his run. I would even say in the first quarter against seattle there was a little improvement until he tried that pass to garcon. I don't have any clue what reasonably could have been expected, or if his progress was faster or slower than should have been expected, but he had made positive steps each week. GMScud 01-09-2013, 12:03 AM I think KC has the potential to be a Matt schaub type QB, someone thats not elite but can win u many games if he has talent around him. I totally agree with that assesment, although I think his upside is a bit higher than where Schaub sits as a QB currently. SmootSmack 01-09-2013, 12:05 AM Cousins Grossman Crompton RG3 on injured reserve (option to comeback) You can't IR RG3 now with the option to come back BigHairedAristocrat 01-09-2013, 12:08 AM Then just IR him. NC_Skins 01-09-2013, 12:11 AM Then just IR him. Why do that if he could play next season? (and be 100% healthy) GMScud 01-09-2013, 12:11 AM Totally premature to talk IR with Robert at this point. I think PUP is more likely. He misses 6 games, which would suck, but with a 100% healthy roster heading into the regular season and potentially that $18M back in cap money, we could be okay with Cousins at the helm for 3/8ths of the year. I just hope priority 1 is to err on the side of caution with Robert moving forward. Fortunately he's a 22 year old world-class athlete with the best docs in the world at his disposal. Scud nails it CultBrennan59 01-09-2013, 01:05 AM I don't want to see rg3 on the field again unless he looks exactly like he looked week 1 vs the saints. I highly doubt that happens by October. PUP him for sure. I thought I had implied him being healthy in that statement, but yes, I want him to be healthy aka back to normal. EDIT Hate to break bad news, but his ACL and LCL are completely torn.... This is according to mortenson and grant paulsen and that HTTR guy |
