I have seen a variety of predictions -- it is amazing to me just how underrated the Skins are.

I get it - RGIII's knee, lucky on the 7 game run, tough schedule, lousy secondary, blah blah blah ... At the same time, it's such a superficial analysis and fails to consider so many factors which would be obvious to anyone who wasn't getting their info from a sound bite, and really seems to ignore real flaws of the other teams in our division (which are also obvious if you don't just rely on sound bites).

Whatever, I stand by my earlier statements. This team is going to the SB - it is talented, deep and stacked with leadership & character guys, and it has a strong chemistry four years in the making. On top of that, and as the catalyst for those championship elements, RGIII (because of his insanely competitive nature) is going to be on a mission to prove to everyone that he, not Kapernick, not Luck, not Wilson, is the best young quarterback in the league.

Get your popcorn ready ... it is going to be an awesome ride.

Mike Freeman (formerly CBS Sports, now Bleacher Report-I know, I know) has us in the Super Bowl

Matt Williamson (ESPN) has us winning the division

Skip Bayless (ESPN) has us winning the division, an I believe in the NFC Championship game

Ace Inthe House (Fantasy Island Sports) has us winning the Super Bowl, Stanley Cup, America's Cup, World Cup, Ryder Cup, Davis Cup, and World Series

Slow your roll. I'm just a realist at this time of the year. Cowboys are just as capable of being a great team as they are a horrible one. They are well enough coached, and have enough talent to beat any team on any given day.

I take back what I said. You're still like the rest of them. :D

Dallas is tough because they probably have the best roster in the division at the top (and probably top to bottom), but:

1) they've had that in other years, and they've been awful

2) they're such a poorly coached team, that you never expect them to overcome any sort of obsticle

The Giants seem to be getting a huge pass from many pundits. I suppose it's a pass they've earned (as opposed to Dallas, who doesn't deserve the benefit of the doubt), but they are not a good team and, well, it's okay to say that in preseason predictions. It's a bad defensive team with a bad offensive line and no running game. That's 8-8 city right there.

I think most have the Eagles pegged correctly. It's an organization that is at a low point in the amount of talent it has on the roster. But they won't be as bad as last season. They also won't be as good as they were in 2010 or 2011.

I still have a guy at work who thinks Griffin's MNF passer rating is going to be less than 85, he won't complete 10 passes, and will be yanked in the 2nd quarter. He seriously believes this. I worry for his sanity.

I'm not sure Dallas' roster at the top if significantly better than anyone else's. I am pretty sure their roster top-to-bottom is not. I feel better about our depth. In the past NY definitely had better depth too. Not sure now. JJ's biggest issue is he can't build depth...not a good enough football guy to do it.

Agreed. Everyone talks about all this talent that Dallas has, but when you compare it to other teams basically 15 up to number one, they're all quite comparable. If they had 5 future HOFers then I'd agree, but they have: Romo, Bryant, Witten, Ware, Lee... I'm sure I'm forgetting one or two, but couldn't you list that about a ton of teams?

Romo is obviously very good, Ware too. Witten has always been fantastic but is getting a little old. I like Lee a lot. Murray is good but not better than at least 2 other of his division peers. Bryant may be their best player and is probably the best WR in the division.

Swap out the names and positions and we could write the same thing about NY and us.

RGIII, AlfMo, TWilliams, Kerrigan, Orakpo.

I would say they are a very talented top 5.
