skinsfan69 02-03-2014, 08:15 AM That GM was Marty's right hand man here in 2001 Wow...didn't know that. skinsfan69 02-03-2014, 08:21 AM I dont care i despise him. Lol. You know how in sports thee are just certain players or coaches that you cant stand? I don't get how anyone can't like Pete Carroll. The guy is 62 years old, has the energy of a 30 year old, he sets the tone with competition, let's his players be themselves and obviously can coach. Is there anyone else who's won a national championship and a Super Bowl? MTK 02-03-2014, 08:39 AM I refuse to give carroll credit. He won a division championship with parcells team before he let that team go to shit. He cheated at usc and jumped ship. And now because of his stadiium gets homefield advantage thruout the playoffs. Sanfran would have beat them at home. I think the denver broncos along with the entire afc would have been outclassed by a handful of nfc teams tonite. I give full credit to the seattle gm for bringing in these players. But most importantly i cannot stand him. Lol thats my take and im sticking to it. Sour grapes. Carroll is heavily involved in personnel. He hired the GM there and has total control. FRPLG 02-03-2014, 08:44 AM It should be made clear. First off. "cheating" in major college football is ubiquitous. It is done in every program. Second, he wasn't accused of anything, nor was the school. Reggie Bush, by himself, was the cause of sanctions at USC. Carroll jumped ship when he knew they were coming. Giantone 02-03-2014, 08:46 AM Peyton Manning's legacy unchanged by loss - NBC Sports | NBC Sports (http://www.nbcsports.com/football/nfl/peyton-mannings-legacy-unchanged-loss) Exactly how I feel about Manning. This game didn't change Manning as one of the top 5 QB's of all time. I got to agree ,while I think we all realize it wasn't his best game lets give credit to the Seahawks defense for causing the turnovers and remember the Peyton didn't miss all those tackles . MTK 02-03-2014, 08:48 AM Peyton didn't lose the game on his own. That D was fierce and Denver was simply overmatched. CrustyRedskin 02-03-2014, 08:48 AM Tebow could have mustered up 8 pts. Just saying. Chico23231 02-03-2014, 09:10 AM Kinda sad Peyton cant throw the ball deep anymore. Pretty evident last night. They pretty much dared him too with there safeties playing up all night. Chico23231 02-03-2014, 09:15 AM Peyton didn't lose the game on his own. That D was fierce and Denver was simply overmatched. They went up against the greatest offense of all time point-wise and got dominanted in one of the greatest defensive performances in the history of the league. Lets not understate it. Too not give Carroll credit is simply laughable. Lotus 02-03-2014, 09:31 AM Last week Ruhskins said that the Seattle D was not getting enough respect. Boy was he right. Holy cow. |
