Lost one of my oldest dearest friends after a three year battle with ALS. He was a super successful model and athlete - played hockey at ND and was drafted by the Calgary Flames. Had the world by the balls. ALS is an absolutely unforgiving and awful disease. It was so bad at the end Im happy he is free. I cannot imagine what he went through. ALS is awful. I am sorry to hear for your lose but glad he is free of his pain.

My boss dropped dead last week. My office is still in shock. He was only 10 years older than me. He was a fellow Skins fan. RIP boss.

Wow, sorry hear that. I had a coworker wife pass away suddenly several year ago…she was a health nut and just dropped dead…the absolute shock I felt for a couple weeks really put a lot into perspective.

Sorry. Especially since it seems like you got along with him. If my boss dropped dead it might be posted in the good news thread. Joking - but she is a really awful person and I definitely wouldn’t post it in the bad news thread.
