Obviously, anything involving an older player, Rogers or anyone else, should reflect that in the contract. If Rogers wants to come back for a reasonable contract and fits the scheme Haz wants to play, great. I think, but am not sure, that a starting 3 CB rotation of Hall/Rogers/Amerson is an upgrade over Hall/Wilson/Amerson.
I don't honestly recall if Rogers/Hall meshed in terms of style - I don't think there was any bad blood between the two, that's not what I am saying - I just wonder if a D that works well for Hall also works well for Rogers and vice versa.

Carlos' dropped ints are definitely frustrating. But the guy can cover very well and that's what our defense needs.
That many dropped INTs are inexcusable. Period. The fact is, the asshole wouldn't get his eyes checked until he was a free agent and signed his one year deal. He miraculously started catching those INTs so he could secure that contract. Gets the contract, and the dropsies start back. It's not a coincidence.
Listen, I've heard way too many stories about Carlos Rogers from LL/HTTR to know that I do not want this dick wad back into the fold. He's one of those tools that can be found in the club most of the week blowing his money. Do not want. Do not need.

^ Actually we do need him. He can still cover.
I wouldn't want him as a starter though...bring him back as a nickel back and load up with top safeties behind him. Byrd or Ward.

Carlos wouldn't be bad, think they're better options

Absolutely. He better not be our first option...same with Bailey. They would be fall-back options if we can't land a top FA.

it all depends on the money. would verner be better? probably, but he'd also cost 9+mill a year, which is more than we'll be spending. if rogers is really cheap, you might as well kick the tires.

you mean rogers? and yeah, but if one wants 9mill that we won't pay and one will take a 2mill or incentive based 1 year deal...
