Lots of QBs have bad games like this. Even more QBs in there 7th NFL game do. I think people forget Cousins is basically a rookie

I don't drink Bud but it's shelf life is 90/120 days (I worked for them for 5 years )

Oh, what a surprise, someone from Budweiser that knows nothing about beer. :food-smil

So you are saying that Cousins' performance was due to inexperience, rather than the fact that he was so inaccurate that he could not hit the broad side of a barn?

IMO inaccuracy like that has nothing to do with NFL experience.

Beer doesn't expire after 3 months. As others have said the "freshness date" thing is just a marketing ploy. It's more accurate to say it's best to drink it by the 3 month date, that's when it's most fresh is all. It's probably fine for another 3 months after the date before it starts to turn from shitty beer to even shittier beer.

My issue is not the beer, its the PR hit. We continuously are dealing with non-football issues in the National Media with this team. The circus does not cultivate a winner culture.

Yes, I am saying that.

If you look at the last 3 INT's came more from staring down WR's which is easily done in college, but cannot be done in PRO's. Something he didn't do vs Philly last week.

The last INT he stared down DJ, but still threw off his back foot because he had a lineman in his face. He threw off his back foot on 2 of the other INT's which were the result of poor ball placement. That is also something that can be corrected.

The Redskins fan base is so hot and cold. Last week, Cousins was the hero of Washington. Now, everyone is ready to throw him under the bus.

I'm not saying Cousins is the next Joe Montana, but he could easily be the next Andy Dalton, and I'll take that any day of the week if we can put the pieces around him to be successful like Cincy has done.

Considering our "franchise" QB will now be coming off 3 surgeries in 5 years. It's not exactly comforting.

It's hardly a front page story in the sports world. Nobody is really going to care.

You and I are living in a different reality. What I saw was that all of the int's could have been completed passes had KC just thrown it to the right jersey color.

I am reminded of a young Vinny Testaverde, who threw so many inaccurate interceptions, his team had his eyes checked for color blindness.

As for fans running hot and cold, several fans here have been saying the same things - both positive and negative - about Cousins for some time.

So you think he completes the first pass to Grant who had a blanket on him? He threw the ball inside because he threw off his backfoot. He didn't have to throw off his backfoot, but he did and I blame that on experience and working on mechanics. His internal clock might of been a bit off since he was already pummeled a few times.

Or the pass to Garcon where they had one safety over the top who read Cousins the whole way? He made the same exact throw last week against Philly, and looked the safety off which resulted in a completion.

The third INT was just a bad read and throw. Was due to him staring down Roberts again. If he had the time, he might of seen the TE wide open in the middle of the field, but he released the ball in 2.6 seconds with the LE in his face.

So, yes.. I guess we do live in different worlds. In my world, if you stare down WR's in the NFL in a WCO, you will be butchered. Something, Cousins didn't do in week 2/3.

I believe that the team fell behind late, and Cousins was trying to hard for the big play to compensate for the lack of production we were getting on offense and defense. Outside the ONE Morris TD run, our run game was invisible, and we were behind in double scores in a blink of an eye.

A bigger factor people keep forgetting is we started inside our own 20 7/9 drives before the 4th Q.

All the more reason to be careful with the ball. But this isn't a 1 game anomaly, its what he does. How many multiple int games has he had in college and the NFL?

I'll take a QB who throws 4 TD's but throws 3INT's before I take one that throws 0 TD's and 0 INT's.... With this defense, atleast it gives us a chance to win.
