Who the hell is saying that Tom Brady is the only reason the Patriots won this game? Who? Nobody. You just keep talking about how lucky he has been his whole career. You are talking about how Russell fucking Wilson and his 12 completions - who by the way - is surrounded by much more talent than Brady - outplayed him?!?!? On top of that - we are the idiots? You funny. punch it in 02-02-2015, 01:19 AM Calia said that he has never had the talent around him that other championship teams have had. That is a far cry from "toms never had talent around him". Niners, cowboys, steelers - those championship teams make toms talent look stupid. Than you go and say that Tom has talent that could replace anyone on the Redskins roster????!!!??? That is supposed to be impressive? Pass whatever you got on over here. It must be really good shit. You funny. I've said a lot of luck is involved with winning super bowls, not that Tom is lucky his whole career. Somebody pointed out 2 "miracles" or he would have had those other games, and I pointed out the other games where they did have miracles to win them. That shit works both ways. You can't say Tom didn't win X games because of Y miracle plays...and totally ignore the miracle plays that got them wins. Wilson outplayed Tom tonight, but that doesn't mean he's a better QB. More talent around him? Not on offense he doesn't. Defensively he might. Special teams favor New England. If you can't grasp that you guys give QBs way too much credit and it's a team sport, than yes you are idiots. punch it in 02-02-2015, 01:25 AM I've said a lot of luck is involved with winning super bowls, not that Tom is lucky his whole career. Are we including the run game as part of the offense because they arent even close! Are we including offensive line as part of the offense because they arent even close! Defense he might???????? What? Please just stop. Ill tell you what Ill stop because now you just sound silly and i feel responsible. So go on get yourself a last ditch attempt to make whatever point you are trying to make. I probably wont read it, but i promise i wont reply anymore. You win. LMAO NC_Skins 02-02-2015, 01:48 AM Not on offense he doesnt? Tackles First team: Tyron Smith, Dallas, 35; Joe Thomas, Cleveland, 22. Second team: Andrew Whitworth, Cincinnati, 14; Jason Peters, Philadelphia, 12. Others receiving votes: Ryan Clady, Denver, 4; Sebastian Vollmer, New England, 3 Guards First team: Marshal Yanda, Baltimore, 38; Zack Martin, Dallas, 24. Second team: Josh Sitton, Green Bay, 22; Kyle Long, Chicago, 5. Others receiving votes: Mike Iupati, San Francisco, 4; Evan Mathis, Philadelphia, 2; Jahri Evans, New Orleans, 2; Joel Bitonio, Cleveland, 1; Dan Connolly, New England, 1; James Carpenter, Seattle, 1. Tight end First team: Rob Gronkowski, New England, 50. Placekicker First team: Adam Vinatieri, Indianapolis, 25. Second team: Stephen Gostkowski, New England, 21. New England had more votes for all-pros along their OL than did Seattle. They had a unanimous TE voted in as all-pro. New England's WRs are superior to Seattle's. (Lafell, Edelmann, Amendola > Lockett, Matthews, Kearse) The only thing superior on Seattle's offense is their RB. Like I said, Tom has more talent around him offensively than does Wilson, but Wilson has better talent around him defensively. Special teams go to New England. calia 02-02-2015, 02:37 AM Dude, seriously, how much coin did you lose tonight in the last minute of the game? I can only assume it was not insubstantial. No one said Tom won the game himself or that he hasn't benefited like all QBs do from some luck (although no more than others, in my view) and help from the supporting cast. But did you really think Wilson outplayed him tonight? I didn't see it that way - he put up 28 points on that D without a huge input from the running game. That is impressive. Wilson shows heart but had a nonexistent first quarter and barely a pulse in the second. As he did two weeks ago, he came back in the second half and played well and with heart. But the better QB got the win tonight, no question. Name the stud RBs Brady has had in the last 15 years. Outside of Randy Moss for a few years and Welker, same question for receivers? Remember, we are talking for a 15 year period - few guys stand out as elite offensive players during that span. Not a lot of HOFers on defense either, although Revis this year is obviously an exception. Now think on the weapons that Terry Bradshaw had - Stallworth, Swann, and Franco Harris, not to mention a defense that even Pete Carroll would envy. Montana similarly had a lot of talent around him, including the best receiver to ever play the game. All three teams had incredible coaches. Brady won 4 with different players and in different ways, and was pretty close to winning 6. He had all 6 Patriot teams in it to the wire. Not enough for you? Also, feel free to disagree, but don't call me or others on the site idiots or other such nonsense. It reflects poorly on you and really doesn't have a place here. If you are sick of reading opinions with which you don't agree, no one is forcing you to contribute. donofriose 02-02-2015, 05:45 AM LOL. No. Brady didn't stop the Seahawks on the goal line or this wouldn't even be in the discussion. If anything, these teams seem to gift wrap these types of games up for Tom. Wilson actually outplayed Brady that game. How about you give the Patriots defense some props. Hell, if the Seahawks run beastmode on that last play, you guys aren't even having this conversation. You would be talking about how Wilson outplayed Tom and the 2 INTs. The defense did great in the 4th quarter. For three quarters that defense was mediocre at best. They gave up more than 150 yards rushing. Wilson looked like he would never get sacked at times during that game. There was absolutely no pass rush. The picked on Arrington the entire game and the secondary looked bad outside of the 1st quarter. They gave up a touchdown in about 30 seconds right before the half which happened only once this entire season for any team in the NFL (according to Tren Dilfer), but they did step up in the 4th quarter. I agree with that. But all of that doesn't take away how great Brady was that 4th quarter. He carried the offense that 4th quarter and looked almost perfect against one of if not the best secondaries in NFL history. That same defense that made Manning, Rogers, and Brees look like Jay Cutlers. But I guess since his name isn't Peyton Manning when he throws 4 touchdows and 350 yards the credit should actually go to the defense. donofriose 02-02-2015, 05:46 AM You talk out of your ass and have no clue what you are even saying.
