99% of the time that kind of throw play is either a catch or a drop. The probability of it being a pic was really low. It is probably the same percent probability that Lynch would have fumbled.
Everyone is just hind-sighting it. Everyone in that stadium figured he go Lynch, they tried to surprise the Pats with a throw. the odds were on the Seahawks side it either be dropped or caught just happen they got the low percent outcome; INT.
Good points. I do want to correct myself and state that Wilson should get some of the blame.
It just seems that other QBs would get all the blame (i.e. Romo), yet for some people make Wilson out to be not at fault for throwing a pick.

There is a history with Romo of effing up in the clutch and Russel Wilson has a history being the man in the clutch (i.e. NFC overtime championship game). Thats probably why Romo would get the blame because he constantly sh*ts the bed.

Well, this time it was Wilson who pooped in the clutch. The reps, they are a-changin'. :)

I honestly don't think there is anyone to "blame". Both plays; 1 yard run or the 1 yard slant pass are both low risk high reward plays on the goal line. I almost say it was more risky to run ML if you feared losing yards. I mean the Pats had just stopped him on 1st down from what the 4 yard line?
ML could have have easily done this:

PLUS NE has a top ten rush defense anchored by Vince Wilfork
2014 NFL Team Rushing Stats - National Football League - ESPN (http://espn.go.com/nfl/statistics/team/_/stat/rushing/position/defense)
It was by no way the worst call ever made in NFL history as some say.

Well the reason Wilson had to do all these things in the NFC Championship game, was because of his own doing (4 picks); whereas Romo usually had to carry his team on his back (until this year when they decided to run the ball more). I mean, even Peyton Manning got blamed a lot on that pick-6 in the SB against New Orleans, and he was just as clutch as Wilson (if not better) back then.
As I said before, I just find it interesting that a QB that's given so much credit for wins, gets so little criticism in a loss given the play.

Plus in the regular season, in 5 attempts from the 1 yard line, Lynch only scored once. The running play was not as high percentage as some people think.

Maybe a little more motivation from lynch and the oline in this last situation though. Nothing is a sure thing, but beastmode punching it in on two tries from the 1 in that situation is pretty damn close.

Nice find.
To add I would say the OLINE comes more into play on the 1 yard line then the actual back.
I love the Feed up SEA fans that I have meet. Do you know how far the Skins are from losing a SB at the one yard in the final minute of play? So much so I don't see them doing it in the next 10 years.

You just wanted a chance to use your screen name; cheesy.
