We are #2 in the draft. It appears that either Rivera or Lewis are going to be the HC and probably in charge of this years draft. Since both these Coaches are defensively oriented it makes sense that they may think about Chase Young.

I see it either being Chase Young or trade down for a boatload of picks to fill our many holes. It may depend on whether teams offer a king’s ransom that we can’t ignore.

I also see if we make trades of older FA like Trent Williams and Kerrigan for draft picks.

If you're truly confused on what the Redskins should do with the 2nd pick in the Draft, it's a pretty simple observation to make: Nick Bosa.

He is the night & day difference for the 49ers' defense this year,...which allowed time for Jimmy G to have a slow start on the season, then get his feet wet and have a successful year.

It's really an open and shut case as far as the #2 pick: You pick the BPA,..and that will be Chase Young.

Just like last year with Arizona,...the Bengals are extremely desperate for a top flight playercaller at the most valuable position,...which opens the door for the Redskins to take the best player in the draft.

You only do your due diligence with everyone else simply crazy things do happen between here and April, and you do have more picks to make in the draft anyway.

Young is not Bosa, Young disappeared the last two games. Trade the #2 for picks.

What does that say about Kalil Mack? The answer is nothing.

How many times was young double teamed, or otherwise taken out of the play by scheming around his responsibility?

Are you basing that on the stat line or because you watched film with a member of the coaching staff, or something in between?

Young is a good player, however, you need to get a great player at #2. Yes, I have watched videos with a member of the coaching staff. We could not find any film on Young. Where are all the "experts" who said the D-line would be great with Allen, Payne, Kerrigan, and Matt I?

One player is not going to turn everything around....no second-round pick too, and plenty of holes to fill.

Chase Young is a no brainier. You take him and run, unless you get a RG 3 type deal. You do not over complicate it, you turn the card in and take the best player.

It did for SF with Bosa, we are built almost the same. Bosa was the missing link, young is our missing link that Kerrigan can’t provide on a consistent basis. Young is explosive and a big time disruptor, we haven’t this kind of pass rush since Manley and Mann.

Redskin "no brainers" picks in the top 5

Desmond Howard
Heath Schuler
Westbrook
LeVar Arrington
RG lll

And a few that were good.

Sean Taylor
Samuels

Trent

Scherif ? drafted as a tackle

So, the "no brainer" picks were less than 50% accurate

7/9 made it to at least one probowl, 1 x ROY, and 1 x Super bowl MVP.
Scherff was a tackle drafted to play Guard.

What’s the percentage of pro bowlers drafted after the second rounds?

This team needs more blue chip talent not more Troy Apkes or Wes Martins.
