Seeing as how a few have complained about today's game, I want to know this:
If you had a choice between two outcomes of today's game would have chosen us losing 45 - 42, or us winning 9 - 7 like we did today?

Like we did today for one reason. Bears D is good, getting low points on them isn't too bad. But giving up 45 points to those fools would have really shown our D got worse.
But if you are saying basically our offense doing good and losing vs. Winning with an O.K offense. I would have to take a win simply because it is a win. My piece of mind isn't worth a game

it's nice to score points and everything, but all it comes down too at the end of a day is scoring more than your opponent which the skins did today. I swear it's sounding like some people on various threads here are making it sound like we lost today.

I'll take the win every time.
I really never thought our passing game would really get going until mid season so the score surprises me a little, but not that much. Twice we were knocking on the door but came up just a hair short. The fumble by Brown cost us a TD but we overcame it and got the W. I think Brunnel could have forced it in from the 1 yard line, but we had an opportunity to take the lead so we did. It was the right choice.
It could have (and should have) easily been 20 - 0.
Fix a couple of the mistakes and continue building timing with our WR's and we will be fine.

i was encouraged today. We did have some big yard plays, but then discouraged by the turnovers and lack of TDs
I'd much rather be a 10-6 team with low scoring games than a 6-10 team sitting at home in January.
See less than 21 per game Baltimore in 2000. (12-4 team and Superbowl champs)

There's no such thing as an RPI or coaches' poll or anything like that in the NFL. Wins are what get you in the playoffs, whether you win pretty or ugly
The Skins won ugly today and unfortunately unless we win 45-0 not everyone is going to be happy, and some people are downright disappointed... after a WIN!
I think the main problem is that most of us really underestimated the Bears and overestimated the Redskins.
Today we saw more of the same from what we saw from the Redskins in the preseason. An offense that is showing signs of breaking out, they're moving the ball, running the ball well and making some big plays. The points are the last thing to be added to the equation, but they will come, I guarantee.

Matty, I think some of us are frustrated because we continue to have problems scoring in the red zone that we saw all last year.......
but a "W" is nice, especially the game before Dallas...........

I'm very happy with today's win. However, I think that a lot of people are less upset with how the game turned out than with what it bodes for the future. I think there are a lot of nervous hands on deck who fear a repeat of last year's offense.
