caught up last night on this week's episode. now the big mystery is why do they specifically want those 4. set an example? bring them into their loop?

probably because they're considered leaders or "good guys" or something.... its not entirely obvious cause locke isn't included and sawyer is.

Hurley makes the least amount of sense to me. He really seems to offer the group nothing in terms of leadership or decision making. Also, since the 'others' never actually told Michael to kill anyone, and it seemed like Libby was an accident (hope no one was waiting to watch that episode on TiVo), how would Michael have convinced hurley to come along with them?

I'm just looking forward to next week to see why the plane actually crashed.

In case they decide to pause for 9 holes, Hurley can lay out the golf course like he did last season

Hurley is tied to the numbers more than anyone else. I'm sure that's a big deal.

That's true, but only if the numbers actually mean more than just the code for the computer.

at this point, anything's possible. i think it has to do with their personal demons (Kate and Sawyer criminial pasts, Hurley's mental institution stay, and Jack's obsession with his Dad)...but we'll see tonight.

I have to say the show is disappointing.
I guess if you have an open ended story then you can say "we'll explain that later" and get away with stuff.

Ever answered where the Polar Bear came from?
Wild bores that could move trees?

lol

Not sure if I'll waste time next year watching.

peace

SBF wants answers!

Can't tell you everything man. Then there is no more show. I thought the finale was money. Totally answered some burning questions but left the ultimate question up in the air. What the hell is going on? Why are spooky guy and the hostiles/others doing all this? Plus the fabric of the show changed a bit now that there is clearly someon off the island that knows something is going on. Really good stuff to me.

I still feel like we don't really know why the plane crashed. Obviously the electromagnet brought the plane down, but that doesn't explain why all these particular people who are all related in one way or the other were on that plane.

Personally, I loved last night and I'm looking forward to next season.
