but let me play the i told you so game to. haynesworth will be limited or not participating at all in drills and workouts. he will show up, say im here, then do nothing. i also believe Haynesworth will strain his buttcheck the second he is on the skins grounds and considered doing team activities. if not his buttcheck for symbolic reasons, then his hammy. i hope your right jack.

if this was vinny before the draft, he would have traded AH and his 32 mil for a 3rd rounder. if this was vinny after teh first mandatory was missed, he would have been so flustered and consumed with not knowing what to do with haynesworth that he couldnt focus time and energy towards other team needs like making the brown trade.

Re: WP: Haynesworth will skip minicamp, wants trade
I'm thinking that he'll be out of here prior to the start of training camp. I just can't envision this management team wanting him anywhere near Redskins Park.
I'm sure the Redskins want to find a way to recoup some of the bonus money they paid him and they just might depending on whether or not they can work with another team and AH to structure something that works for all parties. For example, the Skins might take minimal compensation for AH if another team agrees with AH to redo his contract, pay him a $5M signing bonus, and give him a raise. Then, he could pay back half of the $21M bonus without actually losing anything. But I'm not ruling out the possibility that AH may still be on the roster and in attendance at training camp. If the Skins can't find a way to get back at least a significant portion of that bonus money, they just might put up with having him on the team. After all, the man can play football when he wants to. But kiss and make up? Nah. That ain't happening. It'll be one of those hate/hate business relationships between Shanahan and AH. |

Guys I traveled a month or two in to the future to attend Skins training camp and took a picture of Albert on the first day. Looks like he's in much better shape then last year.

Nah those where just roachs from under the stadium a little snack (No, not the smokin kind) he broke his ass while eating the damn things. The strangest thing happened they had to cart him off, I though he choked to death on one of the damn things or somethin.
Next thing you know here comes Fat Al back on the sidelines, like he died went to hell came back and landed his fat ass right in the middle of FedEx Stadium. Modern medicine, miracle I tell ya.

Re: WP: Haynesworth will skip minicamp, wants trade
Just to play devil's advocate:
How would today's hyper fan have treated Riggo the year he sat out? He would have been villan #1 on our charts....By all accounts Joe Gibbs was very close to trading him that year. What happens if Hanesworth attends training camp and anchors a flat out nasty D and we win more games than expected? If he reports to camp there is not a small chance (20%...30% maybe?) that he actually likes what is going on at The Park and both sides mend the fence. Not saying it is going to happen, but you never know. I think we are fine to go on with out him, however if he does show up, play, and keep his mouth shut then I think I will really be impressed with Shanny for brining Haynesworth to heel, much the way Gibbs did with Riggo. Now for my thoughts - I think the FO has done a great job getting the roster ready to move on with or without Haynes worth (mouch more likly without). Wow what a change. |

Re: WP: Haynesworth will skip minicamp, wants trade
Ole boy.....
![]() Haynesworth's lawsuits keep piling up Posted by Mike Florio on June 24, 2010 7:17 AM ET Redskins defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth has found himself on the wrong side of more than a few lawsuits. Most recently, a bank sued him for failing to make payments on a $2.38 million loan he took out in June 2009 -- only three months after signing a deal with a practical value of four years, $48 million. He also faces a lawsuit from a man seriously injured in an accident allegedly caused by Haynesworth, who allegedly was driving too fast. He's also battling with his ex-wife over health insurance and child support. Then there's the $100 million paternity suit filed by an exotic dancer in New York. A reader has tipped us off to another lawsuit involving Haynesworth. It possibly arises out of a group known as Crestview Townhomes, LLC. A pending lawsuit that had a court hearing on Wednesday includes Haynesworth and Bryan Puckett, two members of the Crestview Townhomes organization, and CP Construction, LLC. The plaintiff in the case is a company known as Dale and Associates, a Nashville engineering firm. There's another lawsuit filed only against Haynesworth by Dale and Associates, which also went to court on Wednesday. We've yet to track down any details regarding these cases. But we've got a feeling that the claims generally arise from Haynesworth and/or the other defendants owing money, and not paying the money.

Re: WP: Haynesworth will skip minicamp, wants trade
See this whole situation with Fat Al is the main reason i say NFL contracts should be more incentive based than guaranteed based. Make these Jamarcus Russell's & Haynesworth's work for it more than they do If that was the case half of these problems, gimmicks & distractions wouldn't happen year around

I believe and I may be wrong but NFL contracts out of all the professional sports has the least amount of GTD money. Plus, I could care less about the $$$ it was not my $$$ to start with what pisses me off is he let this team down, he easily could be in here today with a positive attitude making our team better but he just cares about himself.
