Sure, he has an opinion about what he wants. Guy paid a bazillion dollars for the team, writes a few million in paychecks every week - you know what, he's entitled.

Does he emasculate his coach in prime time? Is he wheeling an injured RGIII around on the sideline like the Atlanta owner did with Vick way back when?

I am just not convinced that Snyder's "meddling" is anymore than most owners in this league.

Gruden held Griffin out, even though he was physically ready for the Cowboys game. If Snyder wanted to meddle, THAT was the time to meddle. Gruden said "Colt starts" and Colt started.

Gruden is going to get his opportunity. So far, so good. Fire Hazlett and so much the better.

vent over.
Admittedly, I don't read every post carefully, but are people STILL saying Snyder made Griff start?

If I'm going to throw my conspiracy theory out there, I think if anyone did, Allen did.

But this all seems silly, Griff is the #1, he needs to be starting anyway. I was hoping it wouldn't be until after the bye, but it is what it is. Dude played above average for having only played ONE game all year. So eh, f it.

Honestly who hear thinks we would have won yesterday with Colt?

Thats an impossible question.
Edit/ Colt was probably feeling pretty confident after monday night. He gets the ball out quickly and understands the scheme. Of course Griff is the more athletic qb with the stronger arm etc etc.
Can you honestly say Colt would have lost the game? Im not saying one would have had a better chance than the other but I just dont think with everything going on rite now that its fair to say he would have won or lost. Who knows? Wish we could have a do over and find out. Lol.

That is an impossible question. RG3, from a statistical stand point, is the guy you want at the helm out of our 3 quarter backs. That's without question, and he played damn good for his first game since the beginning of the season. The thing is, statistics don't mean everything in football. Morale, momentum, confidence, and leadership are all real and important things.

I'm a bit superstitious admittedly, and I believe in Karma to some degree or another. Having Colt McCoy play his heart out and lead us to two game wins back to back, the first time since 2012 mind you, and then say "hey man, thanks for leading us to get those wins, but go to hell kid, Robert's back." That's bad joo-joo. Say what you will about McCoy, but every player on the field that night in Dallas was running on all cylinders with him behind center.

Whether there's tension in the locker room or not, I can't tell. Only the players and the coach have a feel for that, and it's better for everyone that it stays that way. I just hope that if there is they resolve it quickly. I'm not sure about you guys but I could give a damn less who's behind center. I want to win, and I'm sick of not doing so. Let's get a good look at RG3, and I pray he performs and takes this loss and turns it into a series of wins, but if he can't deliver wins, we need to find out who can.

You think Allen would make that call on his own? Like Shanahan said last year, Snyder doesn't really care what you do at the other positions but he damn well be part of the decision process at QB

That's so Danny boy can make his bags of gold off the jerseys/tickets the QBs sell.

Again, "part of the decision process" is fine. The man writes the checks. Everyone on the team and in the front office is his employee. As long as he is not "Jerry Jonesing" and/or otherwise cutting the legs out from under the coach, I am okay with him saying to Gruden "Look, this is the franchise guy, he starts unless you can tell me a real good reason he doesn't."

If Gruden is saying "No way, no how should we be starting Griffin b/c [whatever reason given]" and Snyder is over riding him that's one thing. I just don't get think Gruden is saying that.
