Wow...we blew the protection? Is this fcking clown serious? You can't play action and expect Morris et al to protected when they overload one side and send he house. He sounds like RG3. No wonder nobody takes responsibility or is held accountable! Get this garbage ass mofo out of here!

he couldnt have been more responsible or accountable if you listen to his post-game presser. im feel like im in the twillight zone ... are fans really calling to fire a first year head coach who came into this shit show of an organization .. a first year head coach who seems to have a pretty lethal passing attack with JAG qbs as long as RG3 isnt under center .... 6 sacks = problem 49 pts against = problem insurmountable holes in roster = problem 392 passing yards, 3 tds no ints = not the problem

“Our tight end should’ve fanned out there [blocking Walden], our tackle should’ve fanned out there [blocking Werner],” the coach explained. “They both should’ve went out to help. It didn’t happen though. It was unfortunate. It was a big play in the game, though. That’s for sure. Should’ve caught it. Shouldn’t have run it. Should have done something other than what I did.” Jay Gruden regrets fourth-and-inches call that backfired - The Washington Post

I watch Griffin play, and keep anticipating he will fire off a rocket pass that a receiver may have to make a great play reaching up and getting, but will catch in stride for big yardage. Or run circles around ends and linebackers and make great plays. But it's not happening. Had that wonderful stretch to end 2012, inconsistent from injury but still happened some in 2013. He's still regressing in 2014. Time to set aside nostalgia and play the better QB. |
