Re: Redskins Training Camp '16

I wonder if the thoughts of Running backs are easy to find is going to come true...we are in bad shape right now at that position and look at Dallas..they may have one off the best backfields in many years. We need help in a hurry or the Defenses in this league are gonna pin there ears back on Cousins. HOW DID THIS HAPPEN..We will cut a lot of players at other positions who are better than any RB on this team ...

Whoever is in the backfield, our OL needs to step up their runblocking game. 2nd game was better than 1st, but I feel it's not enough. I hope Trent and Lavao can stay healthy, because Long and Ny got destroyed by the Jets.

A great RB can make one play or two out of nothing, but nobody can be consistant if the holes are just not there...

I am not sold on this defense yet. I think there are too many question marks at the DL, and getting a solid rush on the QB and stopping the run is crucial.

Thanks, but I meant to ask what ratings outfit, like PFF or someone else.

According to these ratings, three of our defensive starters are dirt. I don't believe that but somebody does.

it's him, he updates those ratings at least 3 times a day, i've seen reyes' rating jump 10 points after a healthy breakfast.

Yes the RE LE and NTs are 2nd stringers on any other team.

I didn't post it as much for the ratings of the players. (that's subjective) Just that the depth chart doesn't look promising on the DL this year. At all. Personally, I don't need to see any ratings to know Golston shouldn't be starting on the DL.

While I get what you're saying, the warpath skins' fans knows that defenses these days are all about sub packages and not necessarily your base. In this chart where would junior gallete be? Players like gallete, Cravens and Phillips (or fuller) aren't listed but will have significant roles. Gholsen is a fat run stuffer who may just play on first down against the run. That's why we weren't bringing pot roast back....

Schemes and sub packages play match ups just like offenses...specialized. Also, sum of the parts is important here...wil Compton has gotten a lot of praise in camp about his ability to qb the defense...Golsen and Baker have taken leadership roles within the defense...these things won't show up in ratings.

Still, we have challenges...but I think we will def be improved. I look at the secondary and think it may be top 3 in the league.
