Your talking about several things now and seems like your digging. Defense kinda been questionable since Barry took the reigns.

But whatever you have to tell yourself that the Skins aren't getting better, feel free. But the facts remain winning seasons back to back...couple division titles since 2012...this feeling of stability throughout the organization and throughout the league is pretty obvious.

I actually believe the Skins, Cowboys and Giants are pretty much evenly matched. Not a lot of separation. Eagles got some work to do, but overall the East is back.

Who cares when you win games? There are so many contributing factors. Injuries, suspensions (like Trents), etc etc. Who gives a crap about only the last few weeks? Like someone else asked you "do you consider Dallas a .500 team because they finished the year 2-2. If you lose next week 2-3?
Your question about how you gauge a team based on their finish cannot exclude your team? So either we are coming off a winning season, or (if you lose) we are both losers?

Back to back winning seasons (C-O-N-S-I-S-T-E-N-C-Y) with a talented core of players clearly has the Skins what they actually are 8-7-1. Like I said, your reaching, wanting to believe.

You said the Redskins were in first place early on. They were not.
They were never in first place. Yes the Giants were for the first week or two? I believe from week 3 or 4 on the Cowboys were in first place. Your statement was way off base unlike Hutch's.
And you did put it on display? Lol. You only need to scroll back slightly to see where you said "for a short time this year the Skins were in first place"????? Well, first of all, the Redskins were never in first place of the division during this year at all. At best, they were in second place or tied for second with the Giants, but never first place.

Secondly, they didn't lose week one to a division opponent. Week one was Pittsburgh.
