To be clear, I personally didn't see it. But heard from multiple people I trust, all outside the organization. Of course that's a serious and personal issue so it's not something you just blurt out. We were all pretty stunned when Cooley said it on air. I mean you just don't do that.

Around that time, I got a tip that McCloughan had not been a Redskins Park and let one of the reporters know. A handful of us started to see what was going on, vetting it through various sources. Dismissing some as not being reliable. The one constant we heard from McCloughan to his agent to Redskins officials was "Don't worry, I'll (he'll) be at the combine." Agents started calling reporters and a couple of reporters called me "Where's Scot? The rest of the team is here" And that's when the rest of the commotion started.

Now beside the drinking, I did hear reports of "power struggles" the last few months but honestly had just dismissed it as healthy discussions and figured I was primarily centered around Scot and Jay vs. Bruce and Dan on Kirk Cousins.
Ok well that certainly isn't acceptable...I mean who hasn't gotten lil loose at the senior bowl?....just kiddin. Thanks for the insight

In regards to the power struggle...mike Robinson (nfl and McC friend)said the first sign of struggle was Scott told him was he wasn't allowed to bring his own guys in when but during the hiring process he was told he would be allowed. Also it was made clear during the hiring process he would have entire final say over the roster, no questions asked. He actually never did. Lastly, in the redskins building there was clear lines drawn who could be trusted and who couldn't meaning(leaks, people reporting gossip back to Bruce/dan. ) and this went beyond typical NFL working organization.

Thoughts?
