My assumption is that Denver was his choice within the AFC. It looks like Seattle wasn't trading him to the NFC (rumor is that Philly was interested).

His choice of Denver was a head scratcher, why would you go to a loaded AFC West (see Brady, who turn and ran to the NFC South) where you are competing with established QBs with high potent offenses.

Out of all the teams shopping for a QB this offseason, I thought there were teams with better offensive weapons than Denver: Cleveland, Carolina, Washington, and I'll throw Philly as well. I also think coaching has been a problem in Denver, I mean this is the coach that opted to make a ridiculously long FG over having his pricey QB make a play and win the game.
