Ted Washington was a big loss, but I think they more than made up for it with the players they picked up and drafted.

1) Keith Traylor will easly take over as run stopper for Washington
2) DT Vince Wilfork was drafted #1 from Miami
3) DE Marquise Hill at 6'-6", 300 pounds can play any position on the D-line and perfomed well for runner-up LSU. Great pick up.

Plus they already have one of the best DT's - 2 time Probowler DT Richard Seymour.
They drafted #1 last year highly rated DT Ty Warren who started his entire rookie year and played very well. Can play DE as well.
They also have a diamond in the rough in Dan Klecko who shows a lot of promise as a pass rushing DT.
New England is loaded at D-line for years to come. They will not skip a beat with the loss of Ted Washington, they are probably better and have more depth than last year. With the return of top LB Roosevlet Colvin (great pass rusher) they are going to be better this coming year. The problems with Ty Law will get resolved.
