it also means you'll be useless to start your career and have the possibility of re-currences (i don't know how serious it is besides the no work till may thing). It most definitely affects his stock whether its his fault or not, and not mentioning it earlier doesn't exactly make much sense either.

Willis McGahee dropped down boards due to a broken leg. As you've seen, his career is turning out alright, but he didn't get a break because he was injured, and GW was fired, in part, because he spent a pick on an IR bound RB. Guys like ramsey and benson basically lost their entire rookie years due to coming to camp late, and white's late arrival may affect him in the same way.
