Re: In retrospect...

I'll be the first to chip in. In no particular order.

Nic Clemons
Pierson Prioleau
Cory Raymer
Antonio Brown

I can't say much about Nic Clemons since he basically never got on the field.
Prioleau actually did pretty well in my mind. Cory Raymer was god awful in pass protection. Antonio Brown shouldn't have been on the field but thank God he was. Without him we probably would have lost to Arizona and possibly been kept out of the playoffs.

I'd add to that list Taylor Jacobs.

Didn't you know he retrieves the kicking tee after every kickoff?

Re: In retrospect...

Well, no definitely not a stat category I would base my comparisons of two DBs but even looking at the number of tackles shows Prioleau having significantly more impact than Stoutmire.

100th POST! YAY!

Prioleau was a big part of the team while they were fighting injuries. I think that is an example where stats get in the way of how well someone is playing. He knows Williams' system and is in the right spot. This defense is not one where someone is going to put up huge stats over the season but every week the D keeps them in the game.

Brown was like the Nasdaq in the late ninety's but you cannot underestimate his touchdown vs. the Cardinals. Without that, last season was a failure.

I have to agree with you and some others here with Prioleau and Antonio Brown. I think Prioleau was solid and had his moments and I think Brown was very inconsistent and was a risk to lose the ball, but he has the ability to make big plays.

I wonder what happens to Jacobs ? I haven't heard much about him or from him.
