Ladell Betts is he worthy of praise?

Has anyone been sold on Ladell being a starter for other teams. He has seen significant plays on offense over the past few years and has been forced to step up in needed situations. Alot of the analysts say he could be the main guy on most other teams and is a solid backup for the skins. I see him just as an average backup in a day and age that almost require teams to have 2 standout backs featured. Special teams, or at HB he can mix it up. Seeing Chester Taylor land the Vikings job had me thinking what is the worth of Betts beyond a backup role. It would be devastating to lose him of course but personally it is difficult to be subjected to this propaganda. With Saunders now staffed I'm sure I will eat these words but it will be crucial to have an X-factor armed and ready to run. I'd go as far as dump Jacobs to get in that posistion for next year through the draft.

What teams have two standout backs? I cannot think of any. There may be a team or two but to say that it is a norm in the league is not right.

You could say New England and Carolina but I can see flaws in the incumbent and the rookies. Maybe Atlanta? Don't even think Denver with Ron Done.

I would say that the Redskins depth at RB is as good as anyone's.

Betts runs hard, he has speed to break long ones and he can run kicks back. What else do you need? He did well as a feature back against Minnesota.
