Smootsmack, that could be a possibility, but I'm sure Springs is slated to play CB first.

Going after Butler simply means they're looking for depth. Bauman is fine as the nickel back, but we need at least one more defensive back in case he goes down, or Smoot or Springs get injured. Certainly don't want to be in the position to have to depend on Ade Jimoh.
