Nemo's fat ass showed up on special teams whereas Ortega did not. Where's Robert Jphnson? IR?

I think its's presumptious to call Nemo garbage so soon. He's had limited playing time in a very crowded backfield.

Re: Who got Buck Ortega?

Yea Buck Ortega is gonna be a pretty good backup in the league. The other bad thing about us releasing him is that it shows how desperate we were for running back depth (meaning the team officials are very concerned w/ Portis's injury)

No it shows how concerned they were about special teams depth. The 4th and 5th string RBs weren't kept for rb depth. They were kept because they are good special teamers

Re: Who got Buck Ortega?

I got buckortega once. Took two full months for it to clear up. If anyone tells you that you can not contract get buckortega just by sitting on a toilet sit that a person with buckortega previously sat on, they are dead wrong.

Buck Ortega will train with the Browns for two years and when he gets enough experience and shows solid ability we'll sign via free agency. We always use the rest of the league as our farm club.

So we kept Patten an over the hill WR who will probably be inactive all year insted of a young promising te who will do the same? and I didn't have to spell it out

do you seriously think we're only going to have 3 active WRs on game day? what world are you living in? ortega would have been inactive every game, but you'd rather have a wasted roster space over someone who can actually help the team win games? that's unbelievable, but whatever, i'm glad you can spell :P

Re: Who got Buck Ortega?

Let's not get too crazy over Buck Ortega because he caught a few balls in the preseason. He needs to put on some bulk or convert to WR.

Why would Patten be inactive at all this year? That's just ridiculous.
