I think Ramsey will wind up the STATER CAUSE BRUNNELL WIL, GET HURT, gibbs will ahve in right he reminds me of rypien Willimas or Schroeder but he can move better. I am looking for the new posse to shine this year.

PR is the 3rd best QB on this team. For a 1st round pick he has proven to be a major disappointment.

Ramsey is still green and has only 16 starts under his belt. He nearly got killed in Spurrier's joke of an offense but he kept getting up for more. Under the circumstances I'd say it's very premature to label him disappointing. He would be the #1 guy on alot of teams around the league. The same can't be said of Hasselbeck. |

I love all this talk about the QB battle because it actually means that we have a couple of good guys to choose from. Both guys will play this year (what are the chances an NFL starter makes it through the whole season without getting nicked up) and the fact that we have these two helps our chances. I think Brunell will get the nod initially, but I can see Ramsey playing later in the year, ESPECIALLY IN THE PLAYOFF RUN! Here's hoping.

Ramsey has proved that he can play in the NFL. He had rough year last season, but it was only his 2nd year. Plus he was beat up badly and had no running game to support him. Alot of teams have alot of respect for him because for all the beatings he took. He kept on getting up and never criticized the O-Line or the coaching staff. The kid is tough and he will be a good QB in this league.
If he's a dissapointment, then why was Chicago, and Miami interested in trading for him? |

You might want to look at Joe Crisp's camp reports, or the newspaper reports.
Both P.Ram, & Brunnel are better than Hasselbeck. Ram is faster on the throw, and better at getting back and set than Brunnel. Which means, HOF Coach Gibbs likes Brunnel for his smarts & leadership, and P. Ram for his grittiness. A team simply has to have two, quality starting QB's. Neither would start and end the entire season! Along the way, the starter will get dinged up, and need replacing. My choice would not have been to trade for Brunnel. But HOF Coach Gibbs has a different plan. Depth is key, and is critical.
