Re: Brad Johnson is a little b***h

who cares, he beat us, and if i got junked for jeff george after leading a team to the playoffs, i'd hold a grudge too.

he's the 40th best paid QB in the league, even though he's won a lot more games than he's lost and never had a losing record across 6 different teams. It's not like people gave him any respect to begin with, so there's really not much to lose

They reported that after he gave his post game comments he we went back into the locker room and changed into his old Skins jersey and left the stadium wearing it as an "F' you" to the Skins for letting him go. If we had just recently let him go for no reason and this was his first game back in DC I could give him a pass on this, but that's not the case.

This is, what, the third time he's played in FedEx since being let go back in 2001? Did he make his little protest back in 2003 when he picked our defense apart when he was with Tampa? Or what about when we beat the Bucs on opening day in 2004?

Also, why is he so bitter, did he not go on to win a Super Bowl?

If he's still holding a grudge than he can go F' himself. (yes, I'm bitter over last night)
That is kind of funny. If he had played with as much passion his second year here, he wouldn't have been tossed for George. That team isn't going anywhere. I would love to see a rematch.

Maybe he would have played with more passion if he didn't feel totally dicked over by Snyder when he didn't give him a new contract and instead brought in Jeff George.

Even if it was meant to be spiteful, can you really blame him?

He was shafted here for Jeff George of all people.
point taken. I think it was more for the front office than you fans.

I disagree. If he was a true competitor he should have just shrugged it off. He was unquestionably the starting QB that year.

Not sure how you can say unquestioned when the owner clearly thumbed his nose at Johnson by going out and getting another starting QB that we really did not need.

That doesn't exactly sound like a ringing endorsement to me.

He started almost every game that year. What if he had gotten hurt in week one (ie Peirson). Then it wouldn't have looked so bad to have a veteran.

Re: Brad Johnson is a little b***h

Brad Johnson can wear whatever he wants!!!
He beat our butts with WAY less talent catching passes than we have on our receiving corps. And honestly way less talent on his OL. We got beat guys because we didn't win it and we basically beat ourselves with conservative play, inadequate corner coverage, inability to stop the run, inability to stop 3rd and long on more than several occasions thoughout, penalties and questionable penalties... We gotta make up some stuff to get in postion to play Dallas unless Parcells is on the blood pressure pills again!

I think you're overhyping our line. Bugel's the coach, but the results are far from impressive. rabach is average, dockery is nothing special. the vikings oline is better. the giants is probably better from what i've seen so far this year. denver is better, etc etc etc. Ours ain't top 5, it might be top 10.

Re: Brad Johnson is a little b***h

You really think Vikes OL is better than Samuels, Dockery, Rabach, Thomas and Jansen add Cooley/ Fauria/ Sellers? Maybe you guys should be playing my madden 2k7 Redskins I guess!?
HMMMMMM.
I think the weakest link is CB and OL. Carter a beast or a bust?

Re: Brad Johnson is a little b***h

If Johnson is going to wear the jersey of every former team after he beats them, I just hope he has a big portable closet! And didn't we sign Johnson as a FA from the Vikings in the first place when they dissed him for Daunte Culpepper?

19-16 Johnson won the game. He can wear vintage gear!
I would kick some vintage Tommy Kramer if we had won, but we didn't win.
And well I don't have a Tommy Kramer jersey either...
Though I loved him as a kid!

That wouldn't impress Chuck Norris.
