Yeah Heat is a way underrated moive. Two great actors giving two great performances and then a seriosuly good supporting cast. Love Heat. DeNiro has the unique ability for you to like his charters even when they are the worst humans on earth. Gandolfini does it too but I think that is more a product of the writing and shaping of character rather than the performance.

Good point on Gandolfini. DeNiro brings his character to life everytime, anywhere.

I like the scene where he and Pacino are in the coffee shop talking like gentlemen and discussing who's going to take who down first!
