It's Firing Season

Add Wade Phillips to the list if the Cowboys dont win a playoff game. Jason Garrett is going to garner a lot of interest from other teams, and Jerrry Jones is probably looking for a way to get Wade out of the way so he can promote Garrett. Phillips is safe with a deep playoff run, but if he goes one and done...I don't think he will be back.

I usually agree with you...but no way do the cowgirls dump a 13-3 coach after 1 season....and though I think Garrett may be a hot commodity, he still needs 1 more year under his belt anyways.
I would be psyched if some other team landed him.
In my opinion Wade is untouchable unless you know someone in the Cowgirls org or something.

No one is likely to pull a Shottenheimer firing for the next 5 years.
The fact is teams with double digit wins rarely fire their coach.
I cant even think of a 2nd one.

I couldn't imagine Phillips getting fired if they go one and done. Garrett has shown he's a good O/C. But so is Norv Turner.
