Re: G. Williams Second Interview Today.

I like the fact that Greg Williams wants to build through the draft, get younger and faster. I'm all for that philosophy. Let's not stop with the defense but extend that philosophy to the offense. I still think the Redskins need a general manager to manage football operations, personnel issues and the salary cap.

Well said - only problem is Synder doesn't think it is broken at all. To me we can bring in any coach under the sun, the real issue here is player procurement and the FO structure - when Synder finally decides to change this I think the team will have a realistic shot at sustained success.

Agreed. We are an average/slightly above average team at the present. We could toil in mediocrity (9-7, 8-8, 7-9, 6-10, 10-6) unless we make some changes. GW is smart enough to realize this.

I agree with all of what you've said here. Gregg's reported ideas for this team are right on, and Im excited for him to take over. I hope Danny listens to him about some of the personnel decisions, especially about bringing in a GM;and I wouldn't mind seeing Vinny go.

To be perfectly honest I have very little to base my dislike of Vinny, but what I want to know is what exactly does he bring this team? What has he contributed? From what I can tell he is just Danny's yes man. Does anyone have any idea what he does, and/or see any reason for him to be here?

All and all I like what this article says about Williams. I hope Saunders stays though.
