Should posts in the parking lot count towards total post counts?

I'm a member of a lot of message boards, and when I go there usually I look at the post counts because it gives me somewhat of a sense of what board members are usually the top dogs there. I'm sure if outsiders came here and didn't see the post count they wouldn't feel like such an outsider, they'd just get a sense that it's a board with a lot of members and post counts don't really matter.

I'm not so much concerned about them feeling like outsiders. It's more so about if I'm an outsider and I see some POS post here, do I look at the post count of the person and then say "well this person doesn't have that many posts so this is not necessarily typical of what I'll find on this site"
