They're all Republicans, why don't you love them?

SS, there are Republicans and then there are Republicans. Dan Snyder is the type of Republican who, well never mind about that right now.

My beef with those two is that I believe they create an environment in that building that is not conducive of consistency. I can't put my finger on it exactly, but our teams just underperform, IMO. As oppossed to say the Giants who overperform decade after decade. Holy shit, how can they be that good. Before last season the skinny was that their O-line would be a disaster and now they're just crushing everybody. That flows down from ownership to management to coach. You notice how in that organization the coach stays and the players hit the road? That's the sort of discipline we need. I think Snyder has gotten better, but until he turns the whole thing over to a football guy and finds another hobby, I'm afraid the Redskins will reflect his uneven temperament. Who else can you blame?

Re: Question about Coach Zorn

Maybe he's finding it difficult to demote Campbell. He doesn't have a good reason to do it, but maybe his gut feel is that Campbell will always take too long in the passing game and his protection just isn't that good.

Where did this come from? Did he have a beer with you last night and reveal his inner most thoughts.
He benched Hasselback way back when, and he lit into Portis earlier in the season. I am sure if he felt strong enough about it he would bench Campbell also.

Did you ever see Ditka on the sidelines?

Ditto. Demote Campbell for who? For what? Demote the offensive line, ok. Demote Campbell? How about following that up with some analysis on why.

That has got to be the best response to that post.

Re: Question about Coach Zorn

The only thing I don't like about Zorn is he won't change QB's. We're not scoring so why not change the one position that can make a difference. Sure the O-line isn't blocking well enough, but throw the ball quicker. If Jansen's man is pushing him back into Campbell, I'm sure Jason is aware of it and needs to make some kind of adjustment.

Re: Question about Coach Zorn

?????? JLee, I don't understand what you are thinking .
Look up Zorn's history first, then come back and give your thoughts some backing cuz I am pretty sure I could find several articles about JZ that say just the opposite.

Re: Question about Coach Zorn

I was going by what Zorn said in his press conference today, i.e., changing QB's is not an option. I like Jason when he's making quick decisions like in the first Dallas game and then the Eagles game. The Redskins just don't seem like the same team now and they seem to lack the intensity that they played with when they built up a 6-2 record. I really think the offensive line has problems, too. But if the Redskins can't score points, then the first place to look, and the easiest place, is at QB. I would change to Collins, but I'm not giving up on Campbell. My only hesitation is that this might not work, and isn't the real solution to the problem, which is the O-Line is getting beat too often.

It may be the first and easiest, but that is not equal to the best. and you should listen to your hesitation, cuz at least the next statement made sense

Re: Question about Coach Zorn

Zorn always looks like he is about to cry when he is getting pounded.
I recall mentioning this game 1 against the Gmen....I probably looked much worse

Re: Question about Coach Zorn

I give him props because of the fire he has that i thought he didn't. He threw his hand set and all and i loved it. Now if we can get consistent play on offense then we'd be cool.

Re: Question about Coach Zorn

The thing that's wrong with Jim Zorn is the fact that he can't figure out what to do with CP.
