Re: Should We Sign Plexico Burris.
Everyone's beating me to saying it so ....DITTO. but I will say, with out checking his age, that sometimes young players need to mature. No different then ST21 had to mature. So, if and when he finishes his dutiful jail time as apart of the NY mandatory 3 yr minimum policy then hopefully he would have matured and not followed the path to becoming a better criminal then we can talk about it.

Re: Should We Sign Plexico Burris.
Only if Maurice Clarrett isn't on parole.
Although, Plaxico would make a nice target for Vick when he is paroled since so many are griping about JCampbell. I have seen the longest yard, we should be sniffing around the prisons for talent and male love, I mean talented men to love??

I hope to god this is not how Vinny determines which FA to pursue. It all makes sense now. Vick is gonna be a redksin next year

Re: Should We Sign Plexico Burris.
I'll talk about any Redskin topic. However, I just can't believe this is a real topic.
This guy could do 3.5 yrs in jail. He's not going to get any break from the police, the mayor, the media, the NY Giants or Coughlin - in fact he may be punished for his monumental stupidity. He let his team down in the middle of a serious Superbowl run - do you really want someone like this on our team? |

Re: Should We Sign Plexico Burris.
I believe if he's convicted, carrying an unlicensed firearm in NYC is a mandatory 3 1/2 year jail term. No wiggle room for a judge on sentencing. Someone correct me if I'm wrong

Re: Should We Sign Plexico Burris.
Agree 100%, money talks and bullshit walks. This is no where as serious as the Michael Vick (sad i even have to say "Michael" instead of just "M." or "Vick") case. So, to answer the question- FUKNO with a bow on top. Merry Xmas!

Re: Should We Sign Plexico Burris.
Carrying a loaded weapon into a public club is just stupid and dangerous. The fact that he shot himself shows how easy it is to hurt or kill someone else when modern firearms are concerned.
We lost a great player when Sean Taylor was murdered with such a pistol. I would beat a $1,000,000 [if I had it] that Danny Snyder wouldn't never even consider hiring such a player. Snyder and Cerrato have taken some heat before due due to dumb decisions. Hiring Plexico Burres after this weapons offense would ignite a media feeding frenzy here the likes of which the world has never seen -even in DC. No way, no how. |

Re: Should We Sign Plexico Burris.
Here's the play by play from the UFL in a few seasons:
Vick takes the snap, play action to Travis Henry, going deep to Buress.... The UFL, for good players who've gone bad.
