The only reason I know is that the ship came back into port here in our area and the local news covered the story. Its not as easy as people would think to track these guys as they use small boats that are very hard to spot in a large ocean. Remember how long it took the CG to find that boat that had flipped with the NFL players and they had some idea of where to search. Radar will pick them up put it also picks up other stuff floating in the water so picking out what is a boat and what is junk is not that easy. I did read that some of these ship co. have hired Blackwater to provide protection for them but not sure how many do at this time.

Cool deal. It's too bad they don't put that stuff in the news, at least the news I come across. It would be good for morale if they posted how many pirates they greased. Ooo Rah squids.

Well I live in the tidewater area so when these ships come in to port it gets reported just because they are showing their families and friends at the docks waiting for them.
