Unfortunately, I think we're going to be in a situation again this year, where we place several backup OL on our practice squad and they get signed to another teams active roster. As of right now, I think our backup OL will consist of Bridges (T/G), Mike Williams(T), Rinehart(G), and Montgommery(G/C). Investment in MW aside, who would our second backup OT be? Certainly not Rinehart or Montgommery. I wish there was a way to keep Edwin Williams, but it just doesnt look like its in the cards.

I'm trying to think of what we've invested in him other than just an opportunity and welcoming; we pretty much did it as a favor to Dockery.

I voted M. Williams.. Even though he's like 29 years old and a vet, but is he not eligible for PS? I don't think he has ever been on one before, if so which should makes him to be eligible for it? It might not be an ideal and will be sort of embarrassing for him but I think this would be the best situation for both Redskins and him?

I just don't think we should risk it and sign E. Williams to PS, since Bugel believes that he's doing good.. We lost Crummey to Bengal, who was going to be an replacement for one of our men.. We cannot continue to lose our replacements..

He's not eligible. He was like a 3 and a half year starter for the Bills

Oh I see.. I thought that since he never was on PS, then he would be.. Well, tough luck for Mike I guess.. However, we definitely need to give him credit, he lost lot of weight and worked hard.. Like someone said in another thread, maybe we could put him on PUP until midseason and see if we would need a back up T or not..

Mike Williams.

You really don't lose anything if you cut him. I don't think he's impressed Buges. He has raved about Montgomery, E.Williams, and Rinehart, but has said very little about Mike.

The one thing that they can't take away from Mike Williams is his determination, we know he had the skill a few years ago and who's to say that he can't get it back if he's healthy. How about Devin Clark? What kind of camp has he had? Anyone know?

He wasn't on the pole. Yeah, they haven't said much about him at all.

Certainly not $$, he's got no bonus so he can be gone like a fart in the wind.

I read what Reid said and I'm not buying that he's sure to make the team at all.
