We're also only looking at the Redskins here. We're certainly not the only team to make serious gaffes when it comes to the draft. Even the most respected franchises do. But our issue is with limited picks we have a much smaller margin for error

I know what you are saying is true, but our percentage for players drafted, and FA's still on the roster (and playing) after X number of years is.........low.
In any given situation that is problematic, you look for the area to correct as the "worst first" to make the most positive impact toward correcting the whole.
THIS is the Holy Grail of "worst first"............

not every team has all of their late round picks still with them years later and many don't have their earlies
