I also really like Randy Starks from Maryland. He is probably one of the few DT's out there that I would like for the Redskins. The other DT's are not consistently good. Take too many plays off.

DE Udeze is too light and one-dimensional. He will get run over vs. the run in the NFL.
I do like DE Will Smith from Ohio State. A solid DE, equally adept at stopping the run and creating a pass rush. Can play some DT as well. But might not be the speed rusher some skins fans are looking for. He looks good to me.

I don't think I agree with you on Udeze-- he's a solid 281 lbs, which is plenty of meat for a frame that measures just under 6-3, and six pounds heavier than the 275 lb Smith. There are plenty of defensive ends in the NFL that play much lighter than that. It's not unusual to see 260-265 lb defensive ends in the NFL.

Udeze could easily move inside and play defensive tackle on passing downs-- he has the quickness and moves to beat guards off the snap, and enough size to hold his own against blockers. In addition, he's a wicked pass rusher from the outside, racking up 24 sacks over his final two seasons at USC. He's a powerful, fundamentally-sound, disciplined tackler who does a good job in pursuit. I don't think there's anything one-dimensional about Udeze at all.

My mistake, you are right about Udeze and Will Smith.
However, Udeze must be eating alot at McDonalds, because he weighed in at 273 pound on March 24th pro day work out.

Here are his numbers:
Udeze (6-2 7/8, 273) ran his 40s in 4.77 and 4.81; and he benched 225 pounds 25 times.

Will Smith (6-2½, 267) ran his 40s in 4.58 and 4.62 and he benched 225 pounds a total of 30 times.

You are right about them, Keneche is a converted DT and is solid against the run. It is Will Smith that is a pass rush guy and there is doubts about his ability vs. the run.
