That's the reason for the lack of discipline & conflicts. The players know the HC isnt in charge and has no power so they know they can do what they want without repurcussions, as long as they are buddies with DS. The team will continue to be a mess as long as the HC is powerless and a select few star players only answer to the owner.

Zorn under any circumstance just isn't a strong leader.

I totally agree. However, DS and VC dont seem to give any indication of wanting a strong leader.

I think Gibbs is almost in a category by himself because of the way DS idolizes him. DS would have never done anything to usurp Gibbs authority which strenghtened Gibbs leadership position.

If they wanted a strong leader then why didnt they hire one when Gibbs left?
