Didn't Ryan Leaf get compared to Dan Marino? Did Joey Harrington get considered to be the best QB of that draft? Wasn't Big Ben considered overrated because of the easy conference he played in? You, nor I can definitively say what Sam Bradford will become in the NFL.

Do you know how many times I've heard some QB has the IT factor? A lot. I remember hearing Joe Theismann and Mike Patrick up in the both saying that our very own back up QB, Colt Brennan, has the IT factor. I believe that Clausen also has the IT factor, and hey maybe Tebow has IT as well.

Also I very very much disagree with the whole Bradford has a Cannon arm thing. I believe Peyton has a cannon arm, Matt Stafford has a cannon arm, McNabb, Favre, Cutler, Jamarcus Russell, Josh Freeman, and Flacco have Cannon arms. I don't understand how you can say that Bradford has a cannon arm, especially Right Now, after having shoulder surgery. But back to my point, even before he messed up his shoulder, the balls were coming out wobbly and somewhat slow at times. I'm watching Clausen throw a slant as well as a hitch route and that ball gets slung and gets there so fast, I watch Bradford do the same thing and the ball gets there, but slightly later than Clausen's. Bradford does have great awareness of when to get rid of the ball and move, which is far greater than Jason Campbell's, thats for sure. But the thing that I really want to see is how these QB's play against NFL defense, and audibling out of plays or certain protections. Clausen I know has gone against at least one definite NFL type Defense, and thats USC's. Bradford's defenses he has gone against are mostly college type defenses, maybe Texas's is considered a NFL defense but other than that, no not really any other schools. I would have really of wished that Sam had not of gotten injured because I wanted to see how he would do behind such a bad OL, much like ours.

Great post and I agree every year it is some QB that is the next best thing and then they fizzle out into nothing.
