As far as a LB why not look at Derek Burgess from the Pats?

Honestly, I liked a bunch of guys we cut a lot more than Jean Gilles. Hartwig>Rabach, but it's not like we can just switch the center right now and expect no dropoff.

Montgomery made the team because he can play center, which seems like a really terrible reason. Its no secret that all coaches have favorites, but just to put it in perspective: if we had kept just eight OLmen last year, Will Montgomery wouldn't have made that team. And that team was terrible up front.
