I'd move Fisher ahead of Payton, based on his body of work.

I'd also rate Tomlin, Reid, and Coughlin ahead of Mike Shanahan, at least until Mike gets this season under his belt. Then we can see how he stacks up now.

I have no idea how anyone could think that Rex Ryan is the 10th best HC in the NFL. New York media bias, perhaps?

Pete Carroll ahead of Gary Kubiak? That's ridiculous to me. Carroll has done nothing of note in the NFL.

I'm not sure that it's even fair to rank Schwartz, Morris, and Spagnuolo yet because they haven't had enough talent to compete.

Chan Gailey is a poor HC, IMO. Last place, for sure.

Where do you think Jim Zorn would rank on this list?
