One of my favorite scenes ever from The Cosby Show perfectly captures my feelings toward this. It's not so much the news, it's how the news was delivered (you can skip to the 2:17 mark)

AND that McNabb may not be back next year......

If it's any consolation. Grossman totally owns Kitna!

The only thing Bruce Allen did was vouch for the Tampa retreads like Bidwell and Galloway.

Shanny should quit or be fired, make Kyle the HC, bring in Josh McD as OC so we can have a boy-band coaching staff. LOL.

So it's safe to say now that we've wasted a year on an expensive QB band aid.

[QUOTE=BigHairedAristocrat;769727]I could see Shanny putting John Beck in so we can see what the guy is capeable of, but theres already more than enough film out there on grossman. Also, if we're moving on from McNabb next year, then why the heck would we bench him? all it does is destroy his trade value. we will not get a THING for mcnabb now. we really did just piss a 2nd and 3rd rounder away. Speaking of film, with all the film out there on McNabb, if shanahan didnt like him, why did we even trade for him. McNabb has been exactly what we all expected he would be here. whats shananan so upset about? [QUOTE]

Excellent question. And there’s no better question with which to expose the inadequacies of this organization. There seems to be little strategic continuity between the coaching staffs, the personnel choices, the long-term drafting strategy, etc, etc.

And ultimately, I’m just tired; tired of complaining about the front office, tired about listening to others complain about the front office, just as I’m tired of the embarrassment and failure of the team. Tired, tired, tired.

This still goes back to the Vick situation. I don't care what you guys think of him but the Skins had a HUGE opportunity to bring him in for cheap. Before Vick went to the Eagles I was all over this because I thought it be a great chance for us to get a proven QB that is still young and for a cheap price. It was a low risk high reward situation. I'm still pissed that we didn't make a move on Vick.

Seriously go get Orton them draft a QB and let him sit for 2 years. Kyle isn't a bad QB and he's pretty damn accurate.

Well I think you are doing a disservice to Andy Reid and company because they have a lot to do with what Vick is today. If Vick came here with Zorn or MS he probaly be where DM5 is right now.

This team is just an epic fail at this point.

I don't even defend them anymore I am just like yea that suck to other NFL fans, so f--king sad.

If I knew that MS was going to waste a 2nd and a 3rd on DM, then maybe we should've drafted Bradford instead of giving Philly those picks.

Personally, I would have rather seen some less expensive mediocre QB (JC, Rex) at the helm, drafted a quality player with the 2nd, and have an almost full compliment of draft picks for 2011.

Vick would not have cost two draft picks. And maybe his scrambling ability would have been useful with our terrible o-line.

For like the billionth time Bradford was never an option, we don't have anything the Rams would have want more then Bradford sans a decade of 1st round picks.

A 1st and a 2nd in 2010, and a 3rd in 2011? I think they would have traded. By the way, I was not one for Bradford, it's just that I feel that the 2nd and 3rd given up for McNabb have been an utter waste.

Re: Report: Grossman Starting on Sunday

Skins were definitely interested in Bradford, they and the Rams were the only teams that had him in for workouts. You have to conclude that the Rams simply weren't interested in trading down, and after passing on several other top young QBs in recent years you can't blame them.

People's subjective valuations can be much higher than the supposed "market value". If the Rams FO rated Bradford as the next great one to join the class of Montana, etc, 3 1st rounders may have been needed.
