The WAY she sang the Anthem was disrespectful, just as much as not knowing the words. It's meant to be sung the way it was written, not mutilated into a pop song to bring attention on yourself. It's a reverent song, not meant for entertainment.

Sing it properly and if you have to sing it publicly, MEMORIZE THE WORDS. She has been singing it since she was a kid in the Mickey Mouse Club and it a professional singer (even though she's a horrible one). There are no excuses for her botching the words.

So what should we do with her? Kill her, kick her out of the country, etc...? What would be good.

We are humans and we make mistakes, honestly IMO this is a little one, just move on.

You know surgeons and doctors make mistakes as well that end up killing folks. I would worry more about those mistakes then CA's singing error.

I don't think people are as concerned about her mistakes as much as the way she sung the song in general. Water under the bridge now, certainly. She's still an amazing singer, but I wouldn't doubt the NFL maybe doing a canned version the next go around.

The bigger mistake was not hers, but the NFL's for inviting her to sing it. If they've ever seen her perform, they'd know she'd wreck it with her American Idol-kangaroo with a seizure in an earthquake-style of over-vocalizing.

If she's just sing straight, she'd be great. But, she goes for volume and OVERDOING everything. Ruins the talent she could be using.
