Some thoughts from being at the draft tonight:

-Overall the fans are much more subdued than you'd expect

-If you hang out in the lobby, you have no idea what's going on. You don't hear anything that's happening inside

-Signal was horrible. My texts to Matty were arriving sometimes 20-30 minutes after I'd send them. So, so much for being the "embedded warpath reporter" on the ground

-To see players' moms and grandmothers (and other families) get excited was really cool

-After the Niners passed on Quinn, the plan to move down was to get Quinn at 16, we didn't expect him to go to the Rams. We also didn't think Ponder would go to the Vikings

-Kerrigan is a solid pick, but man if he effs up he'll have to deal with chants of "Nannnncy...Nannnnncyyyy"

-No, I'm not Scott Van Pelt

-I never predicted Vince Young to the Redskins, I merely reported that we're seriously considering him...I predicted Alex Smith (which may be just as foolish)

-Names I heard most frequently mentioned for tomorrow (in no particular order): Stephen Paea, Stephen Wisniewski, Leonard Hankerson, Ricky Stanzi...which means we're taking Andy Dalton and Rodney Hudson

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!! The guy is mentally weak. If he can't hack it in Tenn then there's no was he can cut it here.
