I see what you are saying, it's just that I hate that in all this talk the fact that the team committed a big mistake with these guys gets lost.
For instance, I hate when fans/analysts/talking heads say: "The benching of McNabb proves that Mike Shanahan was correct". Now this is true, it proves that Mike Shanahan was correct at the end of a wasted season last year. But it also proves that Mike Shanahan was dead wrong when he decided to spend picks on McNabb.
