As an aside, given the defensive melt-down in the second half, and the breakdowns in protection, Colt also loses the game. I don't think he puts 26 points up against that defense.

If the D doesn't step up big time in Dallas, we're all talking about how Colt had a delay penalty and took a sack when we were in field goal range to win it. Colt was good and I like the guy, but let's keep some perspective.

The main question for me coming into Minnesota was this: will RGIII play better than he did at Houston. Answer: yes, without a doubt. Too bad we didn't win it, but that's the key to the rest of this season. RGIII getting better, making strides, getting comfortable with the O and his receivers. He's played only TWO games this year. That's the problem.

Yup, and if the D stepped up against the Vikes we're talking about RG3's triumphant return and how he energized the offense.

We have moved the ball all year we just need to get 7 more than we get three. That was the case early even in Minny. Gotta be able to score touchdowns when we get close. Hope that is a real focus going into the bye.
Edit: fourth in total yards! More than effin Denver and New England. We just dont score enough td's. Obviously the D stinks but we knew that.

3 TDs and 2 FGs should have been more than enough to win that game.

Absolutely correct, not trying to lay blame.
4 td's and 1 fg would have won the game though.

Yeah these are all fair points. I actually thought he was pretty solid. But fair or not, RG3 is held to a much higher standard than journeymen McCoy or 4th rounder Cousins. He had a chance at the end of the half and the game to put points up and didn't deliver. If there isn't a turnover late in the half we probably win the game.

That is good to see. I sure as hell hope he has it in him. No pressure really at this point. Lets hope he stays healthy and takes advantage of these last 7 games to really get this O down. Than we can fix the D in the offseason. I am a big fan so far of J. Just something about him I like and believe in.

Never should have been hired imo. If he gets another gig it would be a real head scratcher.

Shanahan's teams aways had a bad DC and it was no different in Washington (Wade Philips is slighly above avg.)Without Elway he was just an average coach and it showed here. As much as people critize Al Davis, he was a smart man to fire him. Haslett is a HASbeen and when was hired as DC I knew this wouldn't work out.
