Re: Dallas Week Matchup: Cooley vs. Witten
Cooley has to be No.1 just by that picture alone. Seriously, there is no other tight end in the NFL I would rather have on our team. He is not the greatest blocker, but he has good hands and does not go down easy. He's the kind of guy, who when he catches the ball, you stand up because it may be a touchdown.

Re: Dallas Week Matchup: Cooley vs. Witten
It was so annoying how Madden wouldnt shut up about Jason Witten in the dallas/philly game. He kept saying that Witten is the best TE in the league. Considering that Madden is slowly slipping into sinility, I don't buy anything he says. Cooley was drafted lower than Witten and has more touchdowns in less time.

Re: Dallas Week Matchup: Cooley vs. Witten
witten had a billion yards last year (it's true, look it up - exactly 1 billion), and he's a better blocker by far.
i think cooley is a better receiver and better after the catch (breaking tackles, not outrunning guys). I wouldn't trade either, but witten's no slouch. |

Re: Dallas Week Matchup: Cooley vs. Witten
Sorry guys right now Witten it's the best all around TE he's the best blocker and a superb reciever I like Cooley a lot (well actually hate because he always makes us look foolish) I think right now Cooley it's #5-#6 as TE go.
If you go by all around TE Witten is the best if you just go by receiving TE then A.Gates takes the top spot. |

Yeah thats a big surprise huh? The rest of the league might as well not play. The cowgirls have the best players at every position. This s**t gets old.

Cooley dates cheerleaders. Witten dates Romo.

Re: Dallas Week Matchup: Cooley vs. Witten
I really have to agree here. NO ONE can make the argument that Witten is the best TE in the game.
Cooley, Witten, Gates and a younger Gonzo all should be about tied for number one.

We don't even use Cooley that well.

Re: Dallas Week Matchup: Cooley vs. Witten
I think Cooley's production will only increase as the season goes on. After a slow start in week one he's caught 12 passes in the last two games. I'm predicting an 80 catch season for him.

Re: Dallas Week Matchup: Cooley vs. Witten
All I want to know is how in the heck does Cooley get his facemask on over that honker of a schnaz he has? That think has its own zip code.
That is why he is so good in inclement weather, he justs puts his hands under his nose to keep them dry in the rain. Do they put his helmet on first and then attach the facemask or something? |
