Holdman's been playing a lot better this season than he was last season. However, I do agree he's a liability, but that doesn't mean that Rocky's ready to go either. Rocky looked good in the preseason...at the end of games. It's hard to say what he'd do as a starter.

So did I. I'm really surprised he hasn't been playing more given this pitiful defense. I mean I can't recall seeing him on the field for even one play this year (special teams aside). Is he really that bad? Is he banging GW's daughter or something?

Yes, as sad as that sounds.

rumph and wright might both be 4.6 guys. no better than nickel guys anyways. and i can't imagine it being any worse. it's not like the other teams aren't going bombs away anyways.

Ade will finally answer fulfull the prophecy and become our defensive savior. and you wondered why he's been here so long. we were waiting for THIS moment.

Warrick = least of our worries. wouldn't mind trying a 3-4 with Rocky and Warrick though. Carter is obviously not doing a thing.

If I am not mistaken Ade played pretty well last year. I cant believe we have not used him yet. It cant be any worse than what has been. Someone tell Greg to put him in.

I don't know how we can ask for McIntosh to be put in the starting lineup. We haven't seen anything from him yet.

The Ade groundswell is definitely picking up momentum...

Re: Bring on Mr. McIntosh, Warrick is Terrible in Coverage

I got a chance to talk with Rocky's uncle at the Giants game. I patted him on the back saying it was good to see someone with a rookies jersey on, looking toward the future. He then told me Rocky was his nephew. I told him how anxious many of us were/are to see him play and he commented that Rocky was just biding his time and learning as much as he can from his mentors and coaches. He is very excited to get a chance to play and the sooner the better, but he is very content to continue to learn the game and be patient. Sounds like Rocky has his head in the right place and is a humble young man. His aunt and uncle were very nice and they seem very proud.
With that said....I think it is time for Rocky!!!

I am sure Rocky is a nice kid, but do not blame Warrick Holdman for the Redskins front office once again giving up draft picks for a rookie linebacker. The front office once again jumped the gun and Warrick Holdman is not playing bad enough to warrant GW bringing in a rookie to try and gel with Lemar and Marcus

well, in rocky's case, if they hadn't moved up, they wouldn't have gotten him. other LBs were available (and CBs, and OGs, and...) but they only wanted one guy.

Re: Bring on Mr. McIntosh, Warrick is Terrible in Coverage

I believe communication is a major reason we are having problems on defense. Adding Rocky in there, as a rookie and with 1 year less experience with the Skins, will make the problem worse. Even if he is a better play maker, Williams has decided Holdman has a better grip on the system.

Oh come on. The problem out there is we have a bounch of slow ass corner back rejects. We also have a line backer that sucks,in Holdman. I see Demeco Ryans dominating in Texas and Thomas Howard in Oakland. Yeah both teams suck, but those two have been the bright spots.

Anybody might think this might be a Jerry Gray problem? I know Springs is out, but he comes in and all of a sudden we're horrible at corner? I mean Rogers was better than this last year.
