If that's true, given the current market, that is a downright insulting offer. On the other hand, I'm glad we didn't give Doc "Steve Hutchinson Money". He ain't that good.

that's his opinion on the numbers, real ones aren't up, so i apologize. you're constant pissing on the skins no matter what got to me i guess, but i spoke too soon, and those original numbers might be right.

those were the numbers offered during the season though, and honestly, he's closer to being worth 4mill a year than 7mill, so i'm not really all that upset about it. he didn't want to be here - he wanted money - and he made that clear over a YEAR ago. he was very clear even on redskins.com that he was going to market no matter what, and then he'd take the best deal and run with it.

I read the same thing that was with a 12 mil signing bonus.

Every report I saw said a 12M bonus or 12M in guaranteees -

If anyone had said that was the offer in November, the reaction probly would have been "Wow - that'll lock him up." There probly would've been a few "He's not worth that" remarks.
