That's a bit more than optimism... That's a flat out fairy tale. Washington hasn't been able to do that since Gibbs returned. And I think I'm being optimistic by saying they'll make the playoffs. This team is by no means dominant, and they are going to have to win a lot of tough games just to grab the wild card.

Well, at some point with the weapons they have on offense things have to start to click. I believe JC will start to hit those deep balls he's been just missing, he'll gain confidence and they will get rolling. If you want to call it a fairy tale, that's your deal. I don't think it's much of a stretch. I agree that they will have to win a lot of games just to get the wild card, but in the end, I don't think there is going to be much separating the division winner from the wild card(s) in the NFC East.

But then, I guess that's why I'm not part of the Tylenol laced with cyanide crowd around here.

The thing is, even the people(at least within this thread) that think that Cowboys will win the division still think Washington has a good shot at the playoffs. There aren't any offiss type replies here. And all I'm saying is it will be a lot easier to outplay the Giants down the stretch than both the Giants and Cowboys. Of course the goal is to win every game, but that's not likely to happen.

Wow, you really are angry aren't you?

I didn't say there isn't any reason to be optimistic. If you look at my previous posts, I think you'll find that I believe the Skins can still win the division. That's optimistic.

I appreciate your opinion and your optimism, I was just saying that I don't think the previous melt downs will have any bearing on the outcome of this year.

Actually, alot of that was sarcasim. The Angry part always puts people in a mindset that I am always angry. I'm really not. You know I'm angry when the profanity starts flying, otherwise I'm just being a smartass.

You have a solid argument about the past not meaning anything, but I just do not agree. No hard feelings.

I've never held the Giants with the same hatred I have for the Cowboys (and Eagles), so I'd prefer to see the Giants win. At this point, I'm more concerned about the Skins taking care of their own business than looking at who we need to lose.

I hope the Giants win. There are still 8 games left so catching the Cowboys while unlikely is not totally out of the question.

Giants. For the same reasons many people here have said. Tighten the division. Don't want the Boys to get to far ahead. Although if we lose to the Eagles I will be really questioning weather this is a playoff team. I really hope we are and we beat the Eagles. I said it before in another post. WE need to win every game from here on out and take home field advantage through out the playoffs.

Who do I want to win? Giants.

I was posting on another board. Giants are 6-2, playing 7-1 Cowb!tches, and I am just not excited for this game. I think the Giants will win, but in years past a game like this I would be thinking about for a week. Listening to every second of sports talk radio that I could get. However, just not that into this game. Sucks.
