A 6'3+ receiver without a doubt, also a de or cb with our 1st round pick.
Yes all that, plus depth at O line like our fellow Warpath buds have suggested. Mainly this season was screwed over by ungodly injuries/tragedies and downright crappy execution.

This is what to see happen before kick-off in week 1 of 08-09:
1) We have to get a tall play-maker receiver that Campbell will throw the ball to. Moss isn't tall enough, but he has the speed, but he is underused. I don't know if either we package Collins and Lloyd to trade up with a team that wants a chance to win, and is judging Collins for his play, instead of understanding that he is a back-up.
lloyd is going to make like 700k next season and then his money jumps to something like 4mill per year. NO ONE Is EVER going to trade for him with that contract. he has 0 trade value anyways, and i hate how people always assume we can trade our crap for something that's actually worthwhile... doesn't work like that (except in the kwame for caron trade (the laker's were soooo retarded on that one)).
2) We spend our money that we get from ST to either re-sign players, or if it makes better sense, get someone new. Retire #21. No questions, just do it.
3) Campbell has to start to follow Saunders offense, this made Collins look fabulous, he listened to the highest paid O-coordinator in the league. We realize that with a good bit of talent, and following Saunders offense, Campbell could be in the top 10.
4) We need to get a good kicker, we have lacked one of them for sometime. Arguably our loss was thanks to the momentum change out of the missed chip-shot field goal. 17 unanswered points hurts.
5) How about a roof on the stadium, that would make it louder!
6) We have to avoid long loosing streaks, no more than 2 at a time, it downs the whole team, in contrast, more winning streaks would be nice!
1) tall receiver != good receiver. though a stud #1 guy would be a crazy upgrade. our depth would be amazing is our current WRs (minus lloyd) all shifted down a spot.
2) what money? we're not getting any money. death is treated like being cut or retiring. all SB money is instantly due, and forward salaries are erased.
3) i have no idea what you're talking about. campbell did exactly what he was told to do. while he was in, portis and moss (and our OL) weren't playing well, and gibbs/al were forcing a very conservative gameplan on campbell. once todd came in, the offence completely changed and deep passes came more than one or twice a game. the COACHES need to give campbell the entire offence next year.
4) we have a good kicker (83%). If we wanted to draft one, gostkowski and crosby were the ones to get. while it is possible to get an upgrade there, it's not very likely, and we have MUCH higher priorities.
5) snyder's already looked into it (new stadium and a balloon roof kinda deal for fedex) to win superbowl bids. it's not happening any time soon though.
6) that's not really something you can control beyond preparing well, managing your roster and hoping for the best.
It's sounding like someone is confusing real life with Madden up in here.

I want a kicker that consistantly kicks touchbacks, makes 99 percent of his kicks, and also he's the punter,is that too much to ask?

Forget DEPTH at offensive line we need starters. Randy Thomas has been injured TWO years in a row. How can some of you fans just expect the injury prone players to always be your starter. Jon Jansen is the same way. Injury prone. Neither player will finish a season if the final 2 are any indication.
Use the first 2 draft picks on an offensive right tackle and a right guard. We lost the game because of a number of reasons including Cooleys dropped pass at the 2 yard line. It wouldn't bother me if the skins drafted a tight end with the first pick. Cooley catches 70 balls a year but he gets thrown to 100 times. We need a Jason Witten tight end who never drops critical passes.

This chat room stuff gets old because its too slow. I want to know if anybody likes to talk live or if there is a live chat room with audio about the SKINS. If not, I am thinking about starting a Redskins weekly conference call line where we could get together on the phone in a chat room environment.
Anyone else interested except me?

You joined to say you don't really want to be here? That's a shame because it seems like you could be a good addition to the site. But you'd rather everyone get on the phone and talk?

Ok, he dropped a poorly thrown ball so he gets knocked b/c the QB didn't throw a good ball. Where do you find these guys we need to start giving IQ test to get on this site.

Draft:
1 corner
1 DE
1 or 2 offensive linemen
1 LB
1 DT
perhaps 1 QB or RB for young depth

I think DT is one of the least needs right now. Golston and Montgomery are two solid young tackles and Griffin can still play. If they get Springs to renegotiate, I don't think CB is too important in this year's draft.
I'd like to see them draft a QB late to develop over the next several years.
I agree with looking at DE, OL, and LB. I'd also add WR. I actually think any big money we have should go to WR, so I think that may be best handled in FA or through trade.
